Now, you've got to chuckle at School's minister Ed Balls. For those of you non-UK residents reading this, yes, that really is the name of one of the key members of the British Government. Not only that, but Mr. Balls seems to think that the current worldwide financial crisis will possibly give rise to an increase in Right wing politics the likes of which have not been seen since the Nazis came to prominence in Germany. And we all know what happened then. So, dear reader, be extra vigilant against any possible suspicion of Right-wing political movements, and do your utmost as jolly good citizens to thwart the rise of another Reich. Mr. Balls would doubtless approve of you going out into the big, bad world, and safeguarding us against stuff like the mass use of CCTV to watch your every move, anti-terror laws being used to crush dissent at demonstrations or to remove hecklers at the Labour Party conference, the introduction of ID cards to track every transaction, movement or ortherwise of every individual, fines for not closing the lid of your dustbin and Councils who think it's perfectly fair game to use satellites to see if you have an illegal porch on your house.
Be vigilant! As I for one would hate to live in a right-wing state. Enjoy your freedom...
